I moved in November 2016 and relocated my shop. So the shop shown below is history.

Summer 2014 Expansion
My original, 250 square foot shop is in the back of my garage. Right through this door by the blueberry bush.
The little greenhouse is now gone and the 196 square foot addition to the shop is finished. The original shop is now a machine room and the 14' x 14' addition is an assembly room. A few highlights from the project are shown below.

Calculated weight - 30,000 pounds
"That'll hold 'er."
June 2, 2014 - Pick up trusses in Olympia
June 3, 2014 - Wood delivered
My friend Ron Shroeder was a huge help with the framing and sheathing. And his friend loaned us his utility trailer to pick up those trusses in Olympia. Thanks Ron!

June 8, 2014 - Build South wall
June 9, 2014 - Frame mostly complete
The frame is pretty straight forward except for the top plate connections to the short wall. Those were hard.
That's Ebi the dog checking it all out. She didn't care for the nail guns.
June 13, 2014 - Sheathing complete, roof nailed.
We had some heavy rain at this stage that made a temporary mess inside.
June 26, 2014 - Roof on, windows in.
July 13, 2014 - Interior complete.
Half inch plywood interior so I could hang things without looking for studs.
You can't have too many electrical circuits or outlets.
July 27, 2014 - Exterior Siding in place.
I contracted this work and it was expensive!
October, 2014 - Dust collection installed in machine room.
The dust collector was a cinch. The ducts took some doing.
December 2014 - View of the addition through the South window showing a greatly expanded assembly area.
